Object alias objects

You can use object alias objects to store multiple references to an object in many different places. To create an object alias object,

• Select the object.
• Choose Make Alias from the Object menu.

An object alias object is created which points to the original object. You can move the alias independently of the original object. To open the original object, double-click the object alias.

Tip: You can also create an object alias to an object by dragging the object to a new location while holding the Command and Option keys.
